Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 5 March 2026
1. About this raffle
These Terms & Conditions apply to the online raffle operated under the name Silver Raffle (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing or submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Purpose of the raffle
The raffle is run to raise funds in support of the kollel and its related activities. Where stated on the raffle page or promotional materials, part of the proceeds may be used for prizes, expenses and the support of the kollel.
3. Eligibility
- Entrants must be legally permitted to enter under the laws that apply to them.
- We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or void an entry if accepting it would be unlawful.
- Proof of identity, age and address may be requested before a prize is awarded.
4. Entry process
- An entry is only valid once the full payment has been successfully received and recorded by us.
- You are responsible for providing accurate contact and entry details.
- Incomplete, duplicate, altered, illegible, late or fraudulent entries may be rejected.
- We are not responsible for failures caused by internet outages, browser issues, spam filters, payment processor delays, or device problems outside our reasonable control.
5. Entry confirmation
Where possible, we will send or display an entry confirmation. It is your responsibility to review that confirmation and contact us promptly if anything appears incorrect.
6. Entry errors and missed entries
We will make reasonable efforts to process all valid entries correctly. If an entry is invalid because the information supplied by the entrant is incomplete, inaccurate, unpaid, duplicated, or submitted after the closing date, that entry may be rejected without liability.
If we discover before the draw that a valid paid entry was missed due to an administrative error on our side, we may correct the error and include the entry in the draw.
If a valid paid entry was missed due to an administrative error on our side and the draw has already taken place or the error cannot reasonably be corrected, our liability for that entry will be limited to either:
- including the entry in a replacement or supplementary draw, if appropriate and lawful; or
- refunding the amount paid for that missed entry.
Unless clearly stated and expressly agreed by the entrant at the time of entry, a missed valid paid entry will not automatically be treated as a donation.
7. Donations and non-refundable amounts
Where an amount is clearly identified at the point of payment as a voluntary donation to the kollel rather than an entry fee, that donation is non-refundable except where required by law.
If you wish any unsuccessful or invalid entry payment to be treated as a donation, this must be made clear to you before payment is completed.
8. Closing date and draw date
- The opening date, closing date and draw date will be shown on the raffle page or promotional material.
- We reserve the right to extend, postpone, suspend or cancel the raffle where reasonably necessary, including for legal, technical, operational or charitable reasons.
- Any material change will be announced on our website or by another appropriate communication channel.
9. Prize details
- The prize(s) will be as described on the raffle page or related promotional material.
- No cash alternative will be offered unless we decide otherwise or unless required by law.
- We reserve the right to substitute a prize with another of equal or greater value where reasonably necessary.
10. Winner selection and contact
- Winners will be selected in accordance with the method described on the raffle page.
- If a winner cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts, or fails required verification, we may withdraw the prize and select another winner if lawful and appropriate.
- We may ask winners for reasonable evidence of identity and eligibility before releasing a prize.
11. Publicity
We may publish the winner’s first name, town or similar limited details where required by law or to maintain transparency. If you have a valid objection to this, please contact us and we will consider it in line with our legal obligations.
12. Disqualification
We reserve the right to disqualify entries where we reasonably believe there has been tampering, abuse, fraud, multiple automated submissions, misleading information, payment reversal, or any breach of these Terms & Conditions.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for events outside our reasonable control.
14. Privacy
We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
